Alanna Basta, data quality coordinator for IEBC and a member of its analytics team, is responsible for managing data submission support for projects where student data are submitted by K-12 school districts, community colleges and 4-year universities. Her work includes facilitating data submissions, identifying and troubleshooting data quality issues, loading data into research databases and contributing to the software systems that enable these activities.  Basta’s experience includes more than 20 years in software development and database administration as well as teaching.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in business administration with a concentration in management information systems.
