Harriett Robles

President, Mission College (Retired)

Dr. Harriett Robles has 35 years of teaching and administrative experience. She has taught English, ESL and literature at both the high school and community college levels and leadership at the graduate level. She has served in multiple administrative positions at the community college level, including matriculation coordinator, vice president of instruction, and president of Mission College in Santa Clara, CA. Her involvement in the community college research community included serving as president of the Research and Planning Group for California Community Colleges. She has served as a consultant for best practices in student learning and success and has been a frequent presenter on institutional research, student success and leadership She has also participated as a member of numerous civic and professional organizations.

Robles joined the Institute for Evidence-Based Change as Vice President of Educational Collaboration and Chief Operations Officer after retiring from Mission College.

Dr. Robles earned her BA in Comparative Literature from Occidental College, her MA in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, and her EdD in Educational Leadership and Change with a community college emphasis from Fielding Graduate University.
