Sheila D. White-Daniels

Dr. Sheila White-Daniels has over 27 years of dedicated service to community colleges supporting student success. She has served as Dean of Counseling and International Students at De Anza College in California, Interim Chief of Staff at Baltimore City Community College in Maryland, and Director of Matriculation and School Relations, and faculty member, at Yuba College, in California. Dr. White-Daniels has also served several years in the United States government in Washington, DC, with a focus on legislation and policies.

Throughout her career, Dr. White-Daniels has been active in many professional organizations, including board member and officer of the National Council on Black American Affairs (NCBAA), President of the Western Region Council on Black American Affairs (WRCBAA), and member of the Haiti Community College and Development Partnership (HCCDP).

Dr. White-Daniels earned her Ed.D. In Higher Education Leadership and Organization from the University of the Pacific, California, MBA and BA in Management from Golden Gate University, also in California, and an AA in Management from Prince George’s Community College in Maryland. She also completed various community college leadership institutes, including the National Institute for Leadership Development, the Association of California Community College Administrators, and the NCBAA Leadership Development Institute for African American Midlevel Administrators.
