An enthusiastic overflow audience learned about the expansion of Caring Campus into Texas community colleges. IEBC CEO/President Brad Phillips, San Antonio College President Robert Vela, and Edward Leach of the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) shared how the Caring Campus approach supports a relationship-rich student experience, and how it can help Texas educators, including faculty, staff and administrators at all levels to improve student success outcomes. College students want and need to feel connected to their college. Feeling welcomed and a sense of belonging leads to increased student achievement.
