In Arkansas, IEBC Caring Campus Coach Frank Renz has been working with Arkansas State University Newport and the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville and will soon be leading both colleges in their final coaching sessions for staff, funded by ECMC.
Our Caring Campus sessions begin with a leadership kickoff followed by four staff coaching sessions. These coaching sessions are followed by a joint session. The joint session brings college leadership to meet with the professional staff who have identified their commitments and developed implementation, monitoring, and communication plans. Staff present their plans to the leadership in the joint session in which leadership identifies behaviors they’ll engage in to support implementation, monitoring, and celebration of the work to institutionalize and sustain culture change at the college.
