In Florida, Pasco-Hernandez State College (PHSC) welcomed IEBC’s Chief Operating Office Jordan Horowitz to conduct a Caring Campus joint session for Pasco-Hernando State College at their Porter Campus in Wesley Chapel. The celebratory session marked the conclusion of the coaching phase of Caring Campus, bringing together leadership and professional staff at all levels. It also is the first time leadership met in person since PHSC moved to virtual operations two years ago.

Caring Campus sessions began at PHSC in December 2021 with a leadership kickoff followed by four professional staff coaching sessions. The coaching sessions were followed by this joint session as college leadership met with the professional staff who had identified their behavioral commitments and developed implementation, monitoring, and communication plans. Staff presented their impressive plans to the leadership and college leadership identified behaviors they’ll engage in to support implementation, monitoring, and celebration of the work to institutionalize and sustain culture change at the college.

Caring Campus is now working with community colleges from coast to coast in 19 states.
