The Winter 2021 IEBC Newsletter presents Tools for Student Success with links to our most recent, well-attended webinars on racial equity and the third Caring Campus guide, along with links to our previous guides.

The Summer 2020 edition of the IEBC Newsletter shares stories of IEBC Caring Campus colleges who are reaching out to their students as part of their Caring Campus efforts. We are sharing their personal stories with you and hope you are as inspired and energized by their experiences as we are.

The February 2020 Newsletter details the partnership expansion between IEBC and the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office (CCCCO), implementing the ‘Caring Campus’ Initiative in California with an additional $500,000.The new funding will support the addition of 18 new community colleges to the program, as well as providing ongoing support to the 18 original participating colleges, empowering one-third of all California community colleges to be ‘Caring Campuses.’

The December 2019 Newsletter highlights the expansion of Caring Campus nationwide with a second grant from Ascendium Education Group that supports a focus on faculty, expands the work with staff, and supports a CCRC partnership to gain a better understanding of how the initiative works to change college culture and improve student outcomes. Also included are conversations with IEBC leaders, a Caring Campus coach and the Community College Research Center (CCRC) director.

August 2019 – The IEBC Caring Campus Initiative launched nationwide. Ten community colleges across the U.S. are hard at work with the Institute for Evidence-Based Change (IEBC) to incorporate the ‘Caring Campus Initiative’ into their student success efforts.

February 2019 – Ascendium Awards $1 Million Grant to IEBC Supporting Its ‘Caring Campus Initiative’.
